We are please to announce the launch of our new student store website!
Thanks to Josh and Stefanie Jacobson and their company, J.Carroll, you will be able to purchase OMS merchandise such as sweatshirts, jackets and polo shirts online! You will be able to pick up the ordered merchandise at J.Carroll or Old Mission School at no extra charge. Also, you can have the items shipped to your home or work at the cost of shipping.
Items are marked “OMS Uniform Approved” for easy shopping. Please look for the “approved” stamp to ensure that it is dress-code and uniform appropriate.
- Please note that just because the item was purchased on the student store website, does not mean it adheres to the dress-code guidelines (with the exception of backpacks and lunch bags).
There is currently a sale going on until February 19! Please take full advantage.
The merchandise is the same clothing items that have been ordered for the last few years. However, there has been another jacket option added to the “Logo Items” section. Sample sizes of all of the merchandise will be available at J.Carroll (113 Cross St, SLO—behind Trader Joe’s). Soon, we will have sample sizes of the sweatshirts only at OMS. I will keep you posted! In the meantime, head to J.Carroll and try on the merchandise for the best fit.

Dental Screening
Nativity Dental Screening
- All students on Nativity campus will be screened by Dr. Frank Daniel on Monday, February 6.
OMS Dental Screening -
- Dr. Frank Daniel will screen students in grades 1, 3, 5, and 7 on Monday, February 13.
We thank Dr. Daniel and Nurse Anna for graciously volunteering their time and expertise.
Third Grade Service Project: Soles 4 Souls
Third graders are collecting used shoes for Soles 4 Souls. This is a great non-profit organization that collects shoes and then provides shoes for people in need all over the world including the US.
They also take shoes that are completely worn down and use them for various recycling projects. Every pair of donated shoes counts.
Please bring your used unwanted shoes to room 3 by Thursday, Feb. 16.
Mission Thrift
Please remember Mission Thrift when cleaning out your closets for the New Year!
Donations are gratefully accepted, and all proceeds benefit the children of Old Mission School.

Old Mission School Teachers are now Online and on Twitter!
OMS teachers now have individual wiki pages containing live twitter feeds with classroom updates.
Every teacher's wiki page will provide regular updates regarding homework assignments, class news, and important announcements.
If you have a Twitter account, make sure to "follow" your children's teachers. If you don't have a Twitter account, don't worry. It is not necessary for you to have one in order to view teachers' Twitter feeds - just click on one of the the following links:
