Old Mission School Fundraiser

We are having an end-of-year celebration for the entire school and their families at the Creeky Tiki Island Grill.
There will be a Mexican Buffet or pizza by the slice. Each dinner comes with one beverage.
There will be a no-host bar, games for the whole family, a 50/50 drawing, and an ugly Hawaiian shirt contest. Tickets on sale soon - more information to follow.

Recycle Your Old Cell Phones, Printer Cartridges, and Cameras
OMS is partnering with The Funding Factory to become part of the recycling solution.
Their list of qualifying items is very extensive. They accept printer cartridges, cell phones, laptops, iPods, MP3 players, GPS devices, camcorders, digital cameras.
The best part: this is a 100% free fundraising-thru-recycling program. Some old cell phones and IPOD touches are worth over $10 each!
There is now a large green box outside of the office. Drop any small electronics and all your laser and printer cartridges in the box. It’s that easy!
We are please to announce the launch of our new student store website!
Thanks to Josh and Stefanie Jacobson and their company, J.Carroll, you will be able to purchase OMS merchandise such as sweatshirts, jackets and polo shirts online! You will be able to pick up the ordered merchandise at J.Carroll or Old Mission School at no extra charge. Also, you can have the items shipped to your home or work at the cost of shipping.
Items are marked “OMS Uniform Approved” for easy shopping. Please look for the “approved” stamp to ensure that it is dress-code and uniform appropriate.
- Please note that just because the item was purchased on the student store website, does not mean it adheres to the dress-code guidelines (with the exception of backpacks and lunch bags).
There is currently a sale going on until February 19! Please take full advantage.
The merchandise is the same clothing items that have been ordered for the last few years. However, there has been another jacket option added to the “Logo Items” section. Sample sizes of all of the merchandise will be available at J.Carroll (113 Cross St, SLO—behind Trader Joe’s). Soon, we will have sample sizes of the sweatshirts only at OMS. I will keep you posted! In the meantime, head to J.Carroll and try on the merchandise for the best fit.

Old Mission School Teachers are now Online and on Twitter!
OMS teachers now have individual wiki pages containing live twitter feeds with classroom updates.
Every teacher's wiki page will provide regular updates regarding homework assignments, class news, and important announcements.
If you have a Twitter account, make sure to "follow" your children's teachers. If you don't have a Twitter account, don't worry. It is not necessary for you to have one in order to view teachers' Twitter feeds - just click on one of the the following links:
